If you are a student or staff member of the University, the Chaplaincy is at your service.

It is here for Catholics who want to get together to understand their faith better and link it with their lives.  It is here for times when you may need someone to talk to about faith, about life.  And it is here for anyone who would like to know more about the Catholic Church.

During the year, Mass and other liturgies will be celebrated on and around the campus.  There will be talks, faith sharing groups and social events.  You can check times on this website.

Father Thinh Nguyen and Sister Delma Lamb's office is located in STOP 1 Building, Room 542 on Level 5, 757 Swanston Street.

You will find one of us there most days during office hours, or you can make an appointment by phoning to Sister Delma on 0413 607 438 or email: lambd@unimelb.edu.au and Fr Thinh Nguyen on 0434 289 583 or email: thinhn@unimelb.edu.au

Pope Francis' Prayer to Mary during Coronavirus Pandemic

O Mary, you always shine on our path as a sign of salvation and of hope.

We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick,

who at the cross took part in Jesus’ pain, keeping your faith firm.

You, Salvation of Your People, know what we need,

and we are sure you will provide so that, as in Cana of Galilee,

we may return to joy and to feasting after this time of trial.

Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform to the will of the Father and to do as we are told by Jesus,

who has taken upon himself our sufferings and carried our sorrows to lead us,

through the cross, to the joy of the resurrection. Amen.

Under your protection, we seek refuge, Holy Mother of God.

Do not disdain the entreaties of we who are in trial,

but deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. Amen.
